Improvements to the eastern portion of Runway 10C-28C and Runway 10L-28R included installation of a drainage system; installation of CECO and a common electrical duct bank; 400,000 square yards of 18-inch and 21-inch Portland cement concrete paving for the runway, taxiway and apron surfaces; and asphalt paving for the runway, taxiway and apron shoulders. The project also included installation of airfield lighting infrastructure, installation of fencing to include blast fencing, and marking and striping.
